37th Annual Newburg Days and Civil War Living History
Newburg, MO June 9 2012 The Newburg Day Committee And The Newburg Civil War Living History Group, a branch of the NCRPG, a community development group, in Newburg, Missouri, along with MCWRA will host a Civil War Living History on Saturday, June 9th, 2012, at Little Piney Community Park in Newburg. The event will run from 9am- 5pm. The craft and food vendors and kid’s games will start at 9am and a parade will start at 10am. A Civil War Living History will start at 11am and will feature a time to visit the civil war camps, a display of historic artifacts and period crafts by local artisans and Civil War period music. An auction featuring items from many local businesses will start at 3pm.

Visit the historic Houston House for an Ice Cream Social, and sit down and relax at the historic Lyric Live Theater, while watching a play from the Civil War era. Tour the intriguing Newburg Children’s Museum in the annex of the Houston House.
