Newburg Community Garden

The NCRPG is initiating a Community Organic Vegetable Garden. We will accept donations in kind or the dollars to purchase the needed things. All your donations are tax deductible.

  • Currently we need:
    • volunteers to work the garden,
    • Donation of 200 bales of straw or the $1000 to purchase these, (approximately $5.00/bale),
    • Donation of approximately 12 Dump Truck Loads of Clean River Bottom Dirt = $1800
    • Donation of Heirloom seeds (contact Candra for the kind of seeds needed and/or the cost)
    • Donation of Storage Shed for tools and supplies storage = $3000,
    • Donation of Deer proof fencing, 1/2" heavy duty mesh = footage and $ to be determined
